Now I have been thinking about the kind of things I would like the staff to do and here are a few ideas now when you apply you don’t have to apply for any of theses, they are just ideas feel free to suggest another area you would like to work on.

News Reporter- A staff member(s) who reports on all the latest Sonic news and rumours small and large.
Basic Site Editor- A member who updates all the odds and ends like member of the moment and all the contest sections of the site keeping them up to date.
Sited Editor – A member(s) who updates anything on the site maybe they see a page that needs improvements or a section they can add stuff to.

So you want to work on the main website of SSZ the heart and soul of everything?  Well now is your chance all you have to do is send me a pm with the following information.

1.  What section or sections you want to work in and or kind of staff member you would like to be you can use some of my suggestions above or your own.

2. Tell me, why I should trust you working on the site, and why should I pick you?

3. Lastly tell me any web site working experience you have, (experience with wordpress is a huge bonus) any anything else you think I should know that would make me want to pick you.

As I said I have not been on the forum to much lately and here is my reason, I can finally officially say the Sonic Speed Zone forum now is 100% after much frustration and I can’t believe I pulled it off the default skin and fast feet skin are complete with a complete fresh new design and a taste of the old forum look to give it that  home feeling. All buttons have also been redesigned with a new modern look as well as old features such as image resize and news announcements.

I still can’t believe I did it, a lot of work went into them because I by far have little code knowledge, WOW, anyways the other skins will come slowly but surely they should not be as hard now that I know what I am doing and have a template.

I hope you all like them and keep spreading the word about the forum Lightning out!

That’s right the new forum is already in the works I am enlisting the help of the staff to help get it going sooner I hope to have it up and running sometime next week.

PLEASE NOTE: What I do need is that if there is anyone or if you know someone who is really good with CSS and code who would be willing to make some skins for forum which uses Zetaboards please have them contact me, please please please!

Also you don’t want the SSZ community to disappear right, well it will take everyone to bring it back up to what it was, WHEN THE FORUM IS UP we will need everyone to re register and post as many of their older topics back up inducing games and so on, and be as active as possible, we will also need people to go out post in their journals, their websites, on other forums they are registered on do anything you can to get new users to register, every person counts we will need all of you to bring SSZ back ! So please when the forum is back up spread the word!!

ATTENTION ALL FORUM MEMBERS!

Well apparently IPB has died permanently so SSZ no longer has a forum, that means yes all data has been lost because there was no way to back anything up since IPB was remotely hosted.

Please stick around I will be working hard to get a new one up and running and so will the staff be helping out to get things going again so make sure to check the main site for all the latest news, I will keep you updated, thank you Lightning Out!

Oh another point for me and my cheesy title update announcements, just a small quick one for ya folks.

1. Site Upgraded to WordPress 3.0 allow for faster working and smoother running.

2. Many general behind the scenes fixes and checks.

3.  New fan fic added by Lordy Kiyo called Sonic Tribal for you to download. Please note the fan fic is still a W.I.P and is not yet complete.

4. Games Archive pages has been slightly updated

Well so much for my smaller updates so with out further delay the fox in camo shorts proudly presents to you your next update.

1. NEXTGEN Gallery, the biggest new thing on the site is now here, next gen gallery is the new way for viewing images on the site which certain pages pages use which I will show below, images open up in a dark window on your screen and you are able to browse through them like a book with forward and back buttons. Next gen gallery also works with cooliris the free add on for fire fox which lets you view images in a 3D wall in your browser.  Here is a sample

2. All new Official Art section, this page has been completely re done and re designed with new graphics and uses the next gen gallery to display the images, be sure to check it out.

3. All new Wallpapers section cleaned up organized and uses next gen gallery.

4. All new Fan comics section using the next gen gallery to easily flip through pages and also comments can be made on the comics throught the site.

5. All new Sprite comics section, cleaned up and uses the next gen gallery.

6. A new forum and site skin is now available which is now the default for both the site and forum for now called Summer Splash Zone, a them similar to the regular but with a splash of summer for a change of look, a big thanks to Lord Kiyo for the art on the skin.

7. 4 new fan fics have been added to the site by Jackle The Kitsune make sure to read them.

8. A new affiliate has been added called Sonic Oblivion a past cool Sonic site.

9. On the forum we have had a few changes, due to a land slide decision in the staff and input from members the rep system has been removed.

10. A hug congrats to Eric the Squirrel who is now moved to being a mod and Joltis who is our Super Contest runner!

11. Also removed member of the moment from the site  since I can never remember to update it, once a staff is added it will be brought back.

12. Summer contest is now over and results are up congrats to all winners!

13. New poll now up on the site.

14. Speaking of staff  all these updates now make the site 100% ready for a staff I will be talking about that soon in a week or so, which I am very excited about.

Alright thanks to Xenos or now Shiny all of the member icons have been updated to a new cleaner look so a big thanks goes out to him!

No I am not dead I know It’s been a long time since a actual site update, well got a new laptop just getting it all organized and such, but have no fear a BIG update is in the works adding a really cool new feature to the site which means a few of the sections will have a complete redesign which will look really cool and if you have not noticed the games archive page has been changed and the games do not open in a pop up but are built in. All these changes are being made to get the site ready for staff, so yes after this big update I will be talking site staff.

Lastly on a side not I will be making a very BASIC summer theme for both site and forum which will be just a slight change from the default with our Summer banner by Lord Kiyo seen below:
