On a side note I will be heading off to College and my apartment for my first year so I will probably be very inactive for the next few weeks while I get settled in and things organized I will try to be on as much as possible but I honestly don’t know what to expect, I may be on more, less or the same I really don’t know, so please just in case any important E-mail/PM please send to the other staff for the next 3 weeks after that I should be ready to roll. So that also means no big updates for a bit, not that I have anything big planed anyways.

Games

Sonic Colors: A small screen-shot was accidentally released from sonic Colors. It shows a picture of two Sonics, one normal blue and the other pink/red, we don’t know yet if it’s a Co-op or a multiplayer race or so on. What we do know is that Sonic Team tried to retract this picture due to its “early release.”

Sonic 4: There is a talk about Sonic’s “homing attack” making the new game too easy especially with bosses. Now Sonic Team has said they fixed this “problem” by putting a moment after the attack where you have no control over sonic leaving an opening for attack. There is no way in telling how well this will turn out until its release.

Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka has made a comment on a future possibility of Tails game and Knuckles and the Chaotix games. Though it is not official and there are currently no plans for one right now Iizuka does desire to make a game similar to the original Knuckles and the Chaotix. Even its not official keep your fingers crossed because with Iizuka it is a possibility.

Toys

Several toys are being released soon. Now out are the Eggman and Metal Sonic and the Super Sonic packs. You should be able to find them in toy stores now.

Also soon to be released is a large pack with the Super Sonic Racers as well as the Victor and Espio pack. The Espio and Victor pack will come with the newest edition of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic.

Let’s start off with Sonic Colours. 
2 new wisps have been released!

Check out the Color Power of the latest Wisp to be revealed; Pink Wisp and its Sonic-like spikes! When Sonic absorbs Pink Wisp, he can use “Pink Spike” Color Power, meaning he has much stronger spikes. Pink Spike makes the most of the spikes and is able to stick to any wall and ceilings! Exclusive to the Nintendo Wii version of the game, Pink Wisp helps Sonic explore new routes in a brand new  way through certain levels of the game.

Sonic Colours gets more colourful all the time!  The Green Wisp is the next in line to unveil its special Colour Power.  By absorbing the Green Wisp Sonic gains the ability to soar in the air with the “Green Hover” Colour Power enabling you to find hidden paths, or explore much higher levels than normal!  With help from the Green Wisp’s Colour Power you are able to perform a Ring Dash near a series of rings!

Moving on to Sonic 4, we have a few screenshots of the ‘Lost Labyrinth Zone’.

5. Now for something bigger. SSZ main site now has a fully functional mobile theme called Smooci, which will automatically run when viewing the site on a mobile browser. From the mobile theme you can switch to a regular them anytime for full site access.

FORUM UPDATE

Just a few small things:

1. Auto Refresh has been installed into the shoutbox for every 10 seconds so you can all stop pounding the refresh button.

2. A smilies button has been added to the fast reply box for quick access to your favourite smilies.

3. News and updates banner has been slightly changed to be more shiny.

Now for the moment you have been all waiting for. Something that got put on hold for a long time thanks to the death of the old forum. I now present to you for the first time ever the SSZ Main site staff!

News Reporter- A staff member(s) who reports on all the latest Sonic news and rumours small and large.
Basic Site Editor- A member who updates all the odds and ends like member of the moment and all the contest sections of the site keeping them up to date.
Sited Editor – A member(s) who updates anything on the site maybe they see a page that needs improvements or a section they can add stuff to.

So you want to work on the main website of SSZ the heart and soul of everything?  Well now is your chance all you have to do is send me a pm with the following information.

1.  What section or sections you want to work in and or kind of staff member you would like to be you can use some of my suggestions above or your own.

2. Tell me, why I should trust you working on the site, and why should I pick you?

3. Lastly tell me any web site working experience you have, (experience with wordpress is a huge bonus) any anything else you think I should know that would make me want to pick you.

ATTENTION ALL FORUM MEMBERS!

Well apparently IPB has died permanently so SSZ no longer has a forum, that means yes all data has been lost because there was no way to back anything up since IPB was remotely hosted.
