After many  hours of work and a whole lot of frustration I give you my greatest upgrade in the history of SSZ since we went from Sonic Evolution to Sonic Speed Zone! I welcome you all to the new Sonic Speed Zone 4, lets take a look at some of the brand new features.

1. New design, Sonic Speed Zone is no longer bogged down with a heavy image based design, she is streamlined and clean displaying pages in a neat and orderly fashion that’s very eye appealing.

2. Comments, on the new Sonic Speed Zone certain pages will allow you to leave comments, you are also able to leave comments on the updates such as this one.

3. Search polls and other widgets, SSZ now has a built in search that works! as well as archives, polls, calendars and other widgets to help you stay on top of all the latest Sonic Speed Zone news and events! More widgets will be available eventually as well.

4. The SSZ toolbar rolls to version 4.5 linking directly into our new RSS feed, removing alerts and including a news ticker.

5. Choose your menu, SSZ 4 uses both menu systems from the past, the drop down menu and the page by page browser, either use the quick and easy drop down menu or click any of the main buttons on the menu to go into page by page browsing (works great for mobile browsers)

6. While were on the subject of mobile browsers, did you know the new SSZ is so light in power it works great on any mobile browser!

7.  All pages on SSZ have been cleaned up and no longer filled with images making them light and fast, as well neatly organized into categories and drop down menus for quick access.

8. New game archive, my pathetic excuse for a game page on the old SSZ has been replaced with the new game archive which includes all major Sonic game releases and some stuff I bet you have never heard of.

9.  Staff, for the first time ever SSZ will have a staff that can edit, add, and post on the site besides just me, I will be talking about this more on a later day, no one ask about staff for now, it’s a story for another day

10. One of the most popular new features is themes SSZ can now be themed like the form, we have launched with 5 skins, WordPress default, SSZ Default, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles skins, the same as the forum, and more will be added later.

11. Quick forum update, Xenos has modified the ranking system for a better feel, and I have changed the backgrounds on all skins to match the site

12. New update system on main page with clean post, with date and user, even I am all new with a great new AVI, from the talented Lord Kiyo, thanks to him!

Well that’s about all for the major new features I can think of, I hope you all like this new version of SSZ I have worked very hard on, so get out and explore the new site, sign the guestbook, check out the new stuff and have fun! Please note though it is a brand new site and a brand new site engine so if you see any glitches let me know so I can swat them, thanks!
